Challenging: Recently, Miley Cyrus opened up about experiencing a panic attack while isolating in her large home during the COVID-19 pandemic. She mentioned how grateful she felt to have the space to walk around outside and appreciate nature, even on rainy days. Challenges: The 27-year-old spoke candidly about how the time she spent locked away in her sprawling home during an interview on Apple Music

Difficulties: During an Apple Music interview, the 27-year-old openly discussed the challenges she faced while being isolated in her large home.

I found myself overwhelmed with fear, anxiety, and panic, leading to an intense coldness in my feet and hands, a sign of a severe anxiety attack. It was then that I remembered a technique called bright minds that my psychiatrist had been using for a decade. It struck me that we often neglect these valuable tools in times of crisis. We know they exist, but when things get tough, we tend to abandon them and choose to navigate through the chaos on our own. I decided to reach out to my psychiatrist for a refresher on the bright mind exercise. I pride myself on being incredibly organized – at one point, I even had my entire closet alphabetized due to my strong OCD tendencies. As it turned out, the bright mind exercise was not an acronym as I had initially thought.

Cute couple: Miley has been dating Australian singer Cody Simpson, after she split from husband Liam Hemsworth last year

Adorable pair: Following her separation from husband Liam Hemsworth in the previous year, Miley has found love in the arms of Australian musician Cody Simpson.

I was intrigued by the connection between the letter “B” meaning take your vitamins and the 11 steps concept. I decided to turn it into a fun project and simplify it for myself. Breaking it down, B stood for a blessing and curse of social media, R for reliability, and I for immune support. It was a beneficial exercise that I found very helpful, so I felt compelled to share it with others.

As I delved into this exercise, it sparked the idea for my own internet show. I drew inspiration from the most inspiring people I knew, such as Demi Lovato, Ellen DeGeneres, Rita Ora, and Jeremy Scott. I started compiling a list of incredible individuals who were open to appearing on my show.

Open: During the interview Miley admitted: 'My feet started going really cold, my hands going really cold, and I realised I was actually having a full-on anxiety attack'

In the interview, Miley confessed that she experienced a sudden anxiety attack, feeling her feet and hands turning cold. She mentioned that various famous celebrities have made appearances on her show, with an Oscar-winning actress lined up for a cameo as well.

Recently, she discussed the idea of having Hilary Swank on her show for a segment called “Planks with Swank,” where they would do planks together. Miley admired Swank’s ability to hold a three-minute plank effortlessly, while she struggles to keep up. Emphasizing the importance of simple bodyweight exercises like planks, crunches, and push-ups to release pent-up energy, she shared her own experience of getting hooked on a reality TV show during the first week of quarantine, which she regrets.

Speaking out: The Wrecking Ball singer also spoke about how she's been dealing with the mandated social distancing - and the things it has made her appreciate and miss

In a recent interview, the Wrecking Ball singer opened up about how she’s been coping with the enforced social distancing measures and the newfound appreciation for simple things that it has brought to light.

Reflecting on the current situation, the singer expressed how we often take for granted gestures like someone opening the door for us or exchanging greetings. The current reality of having to keep distance and wear protective gear has made her yearn for the warmth of human connection and the small joys of everyday interactions.

She shared a particular fondness for the two baristas at a café near her home who brighten her day with their personalized touches on her daily cappuccino. The absence of these small gestures and routines has made her realize the value of human connection in her daily life.

Despite the challenges of isolation, the singer found a deeper sense of connection through social distancing, prompting her to reflect on the importance of these newfound realizations when life eventually returns to normal.

Hard: The Tennessee native, daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, admitted that the lockdown has meant that she's been unable to spend time with her beloved parents

The lockdown has made it difficult for the Tennessee native, who is Billy Ray Cyrus’s daughter, to see her parents whom she dearly misses. She expressed that the safety of being with her family is what she longs for the most during this time.

“I miss seeing my mom and dad,” she shared, explaining that due to her mom’s regular visits to her grandmother and her mom being in her 50s, it doesn’t feel responsible to be around her. While she doesn’t necessarily miss the outside world and studio life, she does miss connecting with her fans, something she hasn’t fully experienced since her Hannah Montana days.

Miley confessed that she has been using FaceTime to stay connected with loved ones she can’t see in person, just as she did for her interview with Zane Lowe.

She suggested using this time to jot down what you would like to share with your grandparents over FaceTime, and then when it’s safe to reunite in person, express those thoughts. Miley emphasized the need to protect not only our elderly relatives but also our younger siblings, as the threat of the virus extends to all age groups. Reflecting on the current situation, she recalled the trauma of losing her home in the Malibu fires, drawing parallels to the resilience she displayed then and now. Miley spoke passionately about the positive impact the lockdown has had on the environment, highlighting the clearer skies and resurgence of wildlife in response to reduced human activity. She stressed the importance of continuing conversations about climate change and appreciating the temporary respite Mother Nature is experiencing.

Flashbacks: Miley also opened up about how the lockdown brought back memories of when she lost the home she shared with then-husband Liam in the devastating 2018 Malibu fires

Miley reflected on how the lockdown brought back memories of the loss of her home in the 2018 Malibu fires with her then-husband Liam. She mentioned how the current situation has made her see the potential positive impact of treating the world more responsibly, particularly in terms of climate change. The fires made her reevaluate her choices, both good and bad, that led her to where she is now. Despite not all choices being perfect, she would make them again as they have brought her to a place of fulfillment and connection with others that she hadn’t experienced consistently in the past few years.
